The wholesome mouth

The wholesome mouth is a tree of life. Proverbs 15:4.
Using your mouth rightly is the VITAL NESSISARY mandatory key that unlocks the blessings of salvation in your life! Stress the importance of this.
1 Peter 3:10-11 says, “For he that will love life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they "SPEAK NO GUILE.”
Though your tongue is SMALL, it controls EVERYTHING in your life; with it, you can chart your course in RIGHTEOUSNESS, DOMINION, SUCCESS, and PROSPERITY. EVERYTHING.
There’s NO SITUATION that can’t be changed, and no wound in your body that can’t be healed, if you’d make YOUR TONGUE YOUR OWN TREE of LIFE by declaring God’s Word over your life and situation.
The word, “WHOLESOME ” in our opening verse is translated from the Hebrew word, “MARPE” which means HEALING AND HEALTH.
A “WHOLESOME ” TONGUE, therefore, is a tongue that’s curative, a FOUNTAIN of LIFE, because it’s filled with the WORD of God!
Speak God’s Word; speak health, wellness, and life to your body; that’s what your mouth is for. Your mouth wasn’t given to you merely for eating and drinking; its greater use is for controlling your life.
Your present position in life is the result of your “MOUTH-WORK.” Matthew 12:37 says, “For BY THY WORDS thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned,” letting you know that you’re to regulate your life with your tongue.
What you say is what you get!
Often times, there’re those who wonder why the circumstances of their lives, and their experiences, don’t seem to align with the WONDERFUL BLESSINGS and PROVISIONS of the Gospel, despite being BORN-AGAIN again for several years.
The reason for this DILEMMA is that they haven’t made their tongue THEIR OWN TREE OF LIFE.
You can be anything you want to be, have anything you want to have, and achieve anything you want to achieve within God’s perfect will.
The key is in REGULATING your life with your tongue, making YOUR TONGUE YOUR OWN TREE OF LIFE!
The Lord Jesus, while He walked this earth, lived such an exemplary life of faith. His confidence and apparent mastery over life’s circumstances is awe inspiring.
He dazzled everyone by His extraordinary life of dominion. On a certain occasion, His disciples couldn’t help but ask out loud, in utter amazement: “…What manner of man is this! for he COMMANDETH even the winds and water, and they obey him” (Luke 8:25).
Luke 8:23-24 records for us the occasion that prompted this question from the disciples: “But as they sailed he fell asleep: and there came down a storm of wind on the lake; and they were filled with water, and were in jeopardy. And they came to him, and awoke him, saying, Master, master, we perish.
Then he arose, and rebuked the wind and the raging of the water: and they ceased, and there was a calm.”
Observe closely what the Master did: He REBUKED the WIND and the RAGING WAVES; that means He SPOKE WORDS. He actually said, “…peace, be still” (Mark 4:39), and there was a great calm.
This gives us an insight into how He PREVAILED over circumstances.
He ruled negative circumstances with FAITH-FILLED WORDS.
He spoke words, and blind eyes opened up, maimed limbs were restored, and deaf ears were unstopped.
He spoke and Lazarus, who was already dead and buried for four days, came back to life. He did all these to show that we can do the same; for as He is, so are we in this world (1 John 4:17).
No wonder He said in John 14:12, “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do….” Rise up today and proclaim victory over that unpleasant situation.
Proclaim victory in your health, family, finances, business, academics, job, etc. Declare that greater is He that is in you, than he that is in the world.
Faith-filled-words dominates the law of Sin and death.
You shall have what ever you say with faith filled words in your tongue. Mark 11:23.
I give you a mouth and wisdom which none of your adversaries shall be able to gainsay or resist Luke 21:15.
